Invisalign®

We are proud to be a Top 1% Provider and a Diamond Provider of Invisalign, a nearly-invisible system of bringing teeth into proper alignment and eliminating unattractive gaps. We’ve treated over 1,5000 Invisalign patients and bring our experience and know-how to every new patient we provide with these clear acrylic aligners. Typically, in less time than metal braces, you can correct your alignment or bite with these clear aligners. As a result, you get to skip the unsightly metal, discomfort and difficulty eating certain foods or keeping your teeth clean which come with traditional metal braces. Learn More

Cosmetic Dentistry

When a patient comes to us with a request for a smile improvement, we have so many ways we can help. Take a look at the following list of cosmetic services and then call us for a preview of how they can give you a smile you’ll love to show off.

Invisalign: Clear acrylic aligners replace metal brackets and wires and enable patients of nearly any age to correct the alignment of their teeth. With more than 1,500 Invisalign cases completed, the SoHo Dental Group is proud to be a Top 1% Invisalign Provider and Diamond Provider.

KoR Teeth Whitening: Our KoR treatment for teeth whitening means that patients with yellowed, stained or discolored teeth can enjoy a bright new smile quickly and easily. Even tetracycline stains can be eliminated with KoR. It is of the most effective whitening systems available.

Veneers and Lumineers : Veneers and Lumineers are fast and effective methods of correcting many cosmetic problems. Severe staining, uneven lengths, chipping, gaps between teeth or irregular or unattractive shapes can all be quickly eliminated with regular veneers or Lumineers.

Dental bonding : This is a fast and inexpensive solution for limited problems such as chipping, cracking or severe discoloration.

Gum contouring : Some patients complain of “gummy” smiles, where too much gum tissue covers their teeth. Laser gum contouring safely and with minimal discomfort corrects the shape of the gums for a more pleasing smile.

Dental Implants

Dental implants offer the best solution for permanent, fixed tooth replacement. First, a thin titanium post (the implant) is placed in the jaw. It is allowed to heal and bond with bone for a few months and then a porcelain crown is placed to restore a patient’s complete smile. These replacement teeth look, feel and act more like natural teeth than any other system of tooth replacement. If you are seeking a solution for missing teeth, please call us to schedule a free consultation to learn the benefits that dental implants offer you. Learn More

Preventative Dentistry

This is one of the most important ways we help our patients protect their teeth and overall health while keeping their costs to a minimum. When our patients maintain a regular schedule of visits, we can detect any developing problems and treat them while they are minor.

Cleanings: When we scrub the plaque and tartar from your teeth twice a year, we are protecting you from decay and gum disease.

Digital x-rays: This state-of-the-art imaging system exposes our patients to less radiation and provides a more detailed diagnostic tool to detect developing problems.

Examinations: Regular, thorough examinations allow us to ensure that your dental and oral health is maintained.
Periodontal treatment: By catching small problems with your gum health, we can prevent them from escalating into serious problems that can affect your overall health.

Mouth guards for sleep and athletic activity: For the person who grinds his or her teeth during sleep or any person engaged in vigorous sports, custom mouth guards can be real tooth-savers! Learn More

General Dentistry

When we provide general dentistry, we are addressing many of the problems that damage teeth or cause them to be lost. With the following treatment options, we preserve our patients’ teeth and their functionality.

Fillings: With regular preventative care, early detection of decay is possible and a fast filling can eliminate the problem.

Crowns: A clean, white porcelain crown covers a tooth that has suffered damage, enabling it to be preserved for many years or even the rest of a person’s life.
Inlays and onlaysWhen a filling covers a large part of a tooth’s chewing surface, an inlay or onlay is often advised. These strong, durable restorations are created in a lab and then are placed in a tooth that has been prepared for their placement.

Extractions: While we try to save every tooth possible, there are times that an extraction is in a patient’s best interest. We keep a patient as comfortable as possible during this procedure and follow up closely to ensure comfort and proper healing.

Root canal therapy: To preserve a tooth that has been deeply damaged with decay or infection, a root canal will remove the infected material but enable a patient toretain the tooth. A crown is recommended to protect the tooth after this therapy is complete. Learn More

Tooth Replacements

We are pleased to have a variety of options for patients who are missing teeth. The best choice depends on each patient’s situation, health and budget.

Dental implants: This treatment provides permanent replacements for missing teeth. Implants look and feel like natural teeth, enable a patient to eat whatever they want and require no special care. The dental implant—a tiny titanium post —is placed in the jaw bone and allowed to heal fully. A porcelain crown then anchors onto this post to replace the missing tooth.

Partial and full dentures: For some patients, dentures are the right solution for missing teeth. We take pride in providing our patients with comfortable and natural-looking dentures.
Bridges: When just one or two teeth are missing, a bridge is a relatively fast and permanent solution. To anchor a bridge, two teeth on either side of the gap are prepared for crowns. The bridge, which contains the two anchoring crowns and artificial teeth between them, fills the gap.

Crowns: To protect a tooth that has fractured or suffered weakening or other damage, a color-matched crown covers the tooth and gives it many more years of usefulness. Learn More
